By listening with empathy, providing reassurance, and simply being present, she became a steady source of comfort and strength throughout their journeys.

These experiences deepened Deborah’s understanding of the importance of compassionate, person-centered care and strengthened her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. With an associate degree in childcare and certification as a Nursing Assistant, she brings both professional knowledge and heartfelt empathy to her work.

As a board member of Livin Through the Lenz, Deborah is dedicated to advocating for breast cancer survivors and their families. Her hands-on healthcare experience provides valuable insight that supports the organization’s mission, helping to ensure that care, compassion, and community remain at the forefront of everything we do.
