Why We Exist
Livin Through the Lenz is a nonprofit that helps survivors feel seen during one of life's most difficult journeys. We exist to support Black and Brown breast cancer survivors as they rediscover their voice, identity, and hope through healing-centered programs.
Through imagery, storytelling, and community, we create spaces where healing continues, identities are rediscovered, connections are strengthened, and every story is valued.
The Future We Envision
We envision a future where every Black and Brown breast cancer survivor feels seen, supported, and empowered to continue healing long after treatment ends.
Our Signature Healing Work
Through photo-journaling, mindfulness photo walks, and collage of courage, we create safe spaces for healing, reflection, and connection.
Survivor Stories & Support

Healing Through Photo Journaling
As a nine-month breast cancer survivor, my emotions are still raw, and I’m learning to manage the fears and anxieties that come with my survivorship journey. Navigating the unique challenges we face as breast cancer survivors can feel overwhelming.

A Survivor's Reflection
& Healing Journey
This program has been vital, not just for sharing my story but also for healing emotionally. It provided a space to find strength in vulnerability, empowering me to inspire others as I continue to rise above the challenges of survivorship.
